Setting up a MIDI Keyboard for Use in Acid Pro 8

### Step 1: Connect Your MIDI Keyboard

2. Now, right-click anywhere within the arrangement area and from the context menu select 'MIDI > MIDI Output'

3. From this dropdown list choose an output port that corresponds with where your external synthesizer or sequencer is connected to

### Step 5: Set up Your External Synthesizer/Sequencer for MIDI In in Acid Pro 8

Finally, we need to make sure our external hardware device(s) are configured correctly so they can receive incoming MIDI data from within Acid Pro!
